Fred Armisen

Anyone that watches Saturday Night Live is very familiar with the comedic genius that is Fred Armisen. His spot-on impersonation of pop star Prince has become somewhat of an SNL trademark for him and has added to Armisen's popularity. He has also appeared in many major films and even added his voice to a few episodes of the hilarious Crank Yankers TV show.

We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to interview Mr. Armisen and hope you enjoy it. It takes a special comedian to be able to answer each question thrown his way with exactly two words, but Fred Armisen did it with a tongue-in-cheek humor that we love here at WickedInfo.

Q: Can you share some stories on filming your upcoming film "Quebec"?

FA: Total fun.

Q: You played drums for the Blue Man Group's off-Broadway Chicago franchise. How did this collaboration come about?

FA: Two auditions.

Q: Who would you list as your greatest inspirations?

FA: Paul McCartney.

Q: Barack Obama has recently announced his candidacy for president. What are your thoughts on his campaign and will you be playing him on upcoming episodes of SNL?

FA: Don't know.

Q: Henry David Thoreau once said "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." What ambitions are you currently pursuing?

FA: More power.

Q: You portrayed the club owner Tino in "Anchorman," which is by far one of our favorite movies of all time. Please indulge us with what is what like to be on that set?

FA: Friends everywhere.

Q: Not that it has ever happened to you on S.N.L, but "theoretically" how bad does it feel to deliver a live joke and hear nothing but silence?

FA: Write again.

Q: What three words best describe you?

FA: Two words.

Q: Where can we catch more of you in 2007?

FA: New York.

Q: Let's wrap up with some word association. We say wombat and you say...

FA: Wombat too.
