When debit cards just won't do

Vanessa had just bought a lovely blouse at Dollar Tree when, as she was walking to her car, a little old man asked her if she had some spare change. She dug in her purse and offered him 42 cents and a breath mint. As the old gentleman took these items from her he swiftly grabbed the blouse she had just bought and started running away. Vanessa knew she wouldn't be able to catch up to him, and even if she did, she'd be no match for him now that he had a breath mint.

"Stop him. Thief! Stop him," she yelled out hoping someone would come to her rescue.

For a moment she contemplated jumping in her car and running the thief over, but she wasn't sure if her insurance would cover the damage. While she franticly tried to think of an alternative plan, she was elated to see the old man suddenly collapse a few hundred feet ahead. She ran to get closer to see what had happened and noticed an elf hovering over the unconscious thief.

"How can I ever repay you," exclaimed a happy Vanessa as the elf handed her stolen blouse back to her. The elf thought about it for a moment when suddenly his eyes sparkled with an idea.

"You see Miss, when I was born my parents couldn't think of a middle name for me and I've always wanted one. Instead of a reward I'd like you to give me a middle name."

Vanessa was more than happy to oblige; she was always giving names to flowers, peas, and broccoli anyway. It was something that seemed to come natural to her.

"Your middle name shall be Keebler."
