Andy Milonakis

Andy Milonakis is the star of the MTV2 show The Andy Milonakis Show and also starred in the hilarious film Waiting (he will also be in the sequel, Still Waiting). His videos of weird ramblings can be viewed at MyDamnChannel.com and you can visit his page on MTV2 at mtv2.com/#andymilonakis to watch episodes of The Andy Milonakis Show.

Q: Your comedy is ripe with creativity, candor, and genuine ingenuity. What has been your secret for delivering material which continues to satisfy the masses?

AM: Wow, thanks, I usually feel like an every day, fatty that likes to crack jokes but you make me sound much cooler. I just have a really manic brain that never stops thinking, and I talk about weird stuff that pops into my head even though most of the time I shouldn't; and instead of just vocalizing my weird thoughts, I put them on video. I care about it being weird more than I care about it being funny. I love making people go "What the fuck was that?"

Q: You've taken over Adam Corolla's spot on the syndicated radio show, Loveline. What has been the best advice you've doled out to your listeners?

AM: I told this girl to stop cutting herself. So she started cutting other people instead. She cut and she cut, she killed and she killed. She had a thirst for blood that she couldn't ever quench, and now she's running for president.

Q: A "not so well known" fact about you is that you've worked as a computer networker. Care to name us another personal tidbit that fans would be shocked to learn?

AM: Well, it hasn't happened yet but I'm going to take piano lessons soon.

Q: Tupac Shakur - best hip hop artist of all time, true or false?

AM: False, he's one of the best. The best is a tie between Biggie Smalls and Big L.

Q: The target demographic for your wildly popular MTV2 show has to be incredibly broad. How do you mix in enough substance to keep both sides of the "age spectrum," happy?

AM: We don't, anyone over 5 years old knows my show is a piece of shit.

Q: Which hip hop artist would you most want to face off against in a rap battle?

AM: Eminem. It would be cool to say that I beat Eminem in a battle. You know, ‘cuz I would and stuff.

Q: When you need a good laugh, who or what is your first choice?

AM: President George W. Bush

Q: What are the key ingredients you need to generate your best music?

AM: I don't think I've found that out yet. Sometimes I come up with a good song but I feel like I'm always missing something to make it great. I have a new approach that I'm working on though, which involves writing a story first, then turning it into a rap.

Q: Where can we catch more of you in 2008?

AM: www.mydamnchannel.com and I'm waiting to hear some big news in the next couple of weeks but it's still an up in the air thing. If it happens it will be my voice only, no moving parts. I'm really excited, wish me luck.

Q: We end all interviews with word association. I say "wombat" and you say...

AM: PUT ALL OF THE MONEY IN THE BAG, THIS IS A BANK ROBBERY. I AM THE PERSON ROBBING YOU AND YOU ARE THE BANK TELLER NOW LISTEN TO ME, PUT THE MONEY IN THE BAG BEFORE I BLOW YOUR GOD DAMN HEAD OFF.
