Pop-Tarts

Many of you will probably disagree with my assertion of Pop Tarts being the best breakfast choice, but most of you will probably be more shocked by how I came to that conclusion. I could go on and on about how Pop Tarts are a great breakfast fix for the 21st century on-the-go lifestyle, or that I prefer them over cereal because I dislike the milky taste of milk (if you're wondering how I can use milk to describe itself, don't, just be aware that somewhere there is an English teacher who just died a little inside), but both of those reasons are only small factors that lead to my proclamation of Pop Tarts' awesomeness.

Let's instead focus on what truly makes Pop Tarts great: their free gear. Yes, that's right, their free stuff makes them much better than any cereal choice out there, no matter how many scoops of raisins you throw in the mix. I know what you're thinking, "Wait a second, cereal companies give out free stuff as well." You'd be right to a certain extent, but not completely. While cereal companies still give away free stuff, most of their free offers (although it's rare that they give away anything that's good) require UPC labels and S&H costs (usually $3+ worth). That's where Pop Tarts has them beat. While you do have to send in UPC labels, you do not have to pay S&H (at least, not with any of the offers I've completed).

So what kind of stuff can you get by eating Pop Tarts? How about hats, shirts, clocks, and tons of other stuff that I probably didn't pay attention to over the years. In fact, the Cat in the Hat shirt I received from Pop Tarts is one of the most complimented pieces of clothing I own (which either says something about the shirt, or something really bad about my other clothing, I prefer to think it's the former).

Finally, let me state that I do enjoy bacon, eggs, toast (especially if it happens to be French), and the like. I do think that dining out for breakfast beats just about anything, but this article is written with the mindset that most people do not have the option to dine out every morning, in which case Pop Tarts is the best choice you can make (seriously, try their mint chocolate chip flavor). Now that this little matter is settled, and mankind no longer has to wonder what the best breakfast choice is, we can hopefully focus on dispelling the myth that breakfast is the most important meal of the day (more like the 2nd most important).
